Hi, I'm Erica! For the past 25 years, I've had the honor of leading and advising countless beautiful souls guiding them on how to thrive through the troubling turning points on their journey to joy. I have been invited into people's lives to service and support to them in a myriad of professional capacities to include foster care social worker, crisis manager, military family services program director, victim advocate, career coach, human resources administrator, non profit chief executive officer, chief diversity officer and ombudsman.
I'm a proud HBCU graduate who holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a MBA with a concentration in Human Resources Management. Informally but just as important, I've also been educated via the school of life with a 15 year marriage, 18 years of motherhood and a lifetime as a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, cousin, friend and confidant. I came across Human Design in 2018 while living and working in Tokyo. I was deepening my exploration of Chinese Feng Shui and basking in the Zen of the Japanese culture as a life long learner. Although I had been studying and servicing people and society for 20 years at the time, I realized I never really assessed myself. I began to slowly live authentically in my design and founded Satori Synergy in 2024 to show other individuals and professionals how to show up for themselves and others as their best selves.
Recognizing what people need and helping them assess their social interactions and address their social problems is my superpower, its literally how I was designed; you can see it in my chart. Getting to know my best self as well as my not self through my experiences applying Human Design in my life has helped me understand why I've always been a natural guide and advisor. In the Human Design world I'm known as a Projector which means my life's purpose is to shine light on others to inspire and guide them as they take action to achieve what's important to them.
