Frequently Asked Questions
What do you do?
I help people understand how they are designed to contribute, communicate, make decisions, and create value within the systems they belong to whether that's a career, a relationship, a team, or an organization. My work helps individuals find clarity, partnerships find alignment, and organizations build healthier cultures and stronger performance.

What problem do you solve?
Most people think they have a motivation problem, communication problem, leadership problem, or relationship problem. More often its just social dynamics and most likely I find that they have an alignment problem. When people understand who they are, how they operate, and how they relate to others, they can make better decisions, reduce unnecessary friction, and create more sustainable success.

Who do you work with?
How can this help me?
The goal isn't to change who you are. The goal is to help you understand how you naturally operate so you can stop forcing what doesn't fit and start leveraging what does. That often leads to:
-
Greater self-awareness
-
Better decision-making
-
Healthier communication
-
Stronger relationships
-
More effective leadership
-
Increased confidence
-
Less friction and burnout
-
Greater alignment with your goals
What would working together look like?
Every engagement begins with orientation. Before solving problems, making changes, or setting goals, we first identify the human dynamics influencing the situation. From there, we create practical insights and strategies that help individuals, partnerships, and organizations move forward with greater clarity and intention. I generally work virtually however I can be available for onsite activity as applicable.
What happens in the first 30 days?
I begin by assessing the human systems.
-
For individuals, that may mean exploring strengths, motivations, decision-making patterns, and life direction.
-
For partnerships, it means understanding communication dynamics, roles, expectations, and areas of alignment.
-
For organizations, it means evaluating leadership dynamics, communication patterns, team interactions, decision-making processes, and cultural influences to identify where performance is being gained or lost.
What makes my approach different?
Most consultants analyze processes. Most coaches focus on goals. Most assessments measure behavior. I focus on the people operating within the system. My approach combines business sociology, leadership development, human systems intelligence, and behavioral frameworks to help people understand:
-
who they are,
-
what they do,
-
when to engage,
-
where they create the greatest value,
-
why they do what they do, and
-
how they contribute.
Do I need to know Human Design?
No. Many clients come to me because they're curious about Human Design, BG5™, astrology, or other social science frameworks. Others come because they want help navigating a career transition, strengthening a relationship, improving leadership effectiveness, or building a healthier team. The framework is never the point. The outcome is. The goal is always greater clarity, alignment, and intentional action.
What is Business Sociology?
Business Sociology is my flagship framework that examines how people interact within organizations, communities, teams, and social systems. While traditional business approaches often focus on processes and performance, business sociology explores the human intelligence and dynamics beneath the surface—culture, leadership, relationships, identity, trust, influence, belonging, and collective behavior. In simple terms: Business sociology helps us understand why people do what they do at work and how organizations can create environments where people and performance thrive together.

What is Human Design?
Human Design is a system of self-understanding that combines principles from ancient wisdom traditions and modern sciences to provide a blueprint of your natural energetic design. Human Design offers insight into:
-
Decision-making
-
Communication
-
Relationships
-
Personal strengths
-
Leadership style
-
Life themes
At its core, Human Design helps individuals understand how they are uniquely designed to navigate life and interact with others. While living in Tokyo for four years, I learned about Human Design and Ikigai and began to study and incorporate the mechanisms and philosophies into my life and career. I share more here:

What is BG5?
Base Group of 5 is the career, business, leadership, and organizational application of Human Design. Developed through the BG5 Business Institute, BG5 translates Human Design principles into professional language and practical tools that can be applied within careers, businesses, teams, partnerships, and leadership development. BG5 focuses on understanding:
-
Natural work styles
-
Decision-making strengths
-
Leadership potential
-
Team dynamics
-
Career alignment
-
Partnership compatibility
As a Licensed & Certified BG5 Career Analyst & Business Consultant, I use BG5 to help clients understand how they are naturally designed to contribute, collaborate, and create value within professional and organizational environments.
Rather than asking, "Who should I become when I grow?" BG5 helps answer: "Who am I already designed to be?"

What is Executive Astrology?
Executive Astrology is my signature framework: a sociological interpretation of astrology applied to leadership, organizations, and human development. Rather than predicting events, it uses astrological archetypes and life-cycle patterns to better understand how people lead, grow, make decisions, navigate transitions, and contribute within larger systems.

Executive Astrology helps identify recurring developmental themes, natural strengths, leadership tendencies, career opportunities, and pivotal seasons of change. It offers a lens for understanding not only what you're experiencing, but why certain lessons, responsibilities, and opportunities emerge at different stages of life and work.
Grounded in sociology, leadership theory, Human Design, and astrology, this interdisciplinary approach is designed to help individuals and organizations align talent with purpose, navigate change with greater clarity, and make more informed decisions throughout the executive life cycle.

Executive Astrology is an evolving body of work informed by my graduate training in sociology, business, and human resources, my certifications in Human Design and diversity and cultural intelligence, and my ongoing advanced studies in business astrology.
What is Ikigai?
Ikigai is a Japanese concept often translated as "reason for being." It sits at the intersection of:
-
What you love
-
What you're good at
-
What the world needs
-
What you can be compensated for
At Satori Synergy, Ikigai serves as a practical framework for helping individuals align purpose, contribution, fulfillment, and sustainability. Because meaningful work isn't simply about passion. It's about creating value in a way that honors both your gifts and your life.
