Key Career Trait 46: Self-Determination

Carpe Diem! You approach projects with a relaxed attitude, seizing the moment and taking advantage of the opportunities that come your way. Your ability to release the pressure of expectations helps you stay focused while remaining flexible. This approach allows you to remain calm even in hectic times and quickly adapt to changes. With this energy, you bring the gift of delight to the team. Your genius holds a delightful perspective to how projects and plans are approached and accomplished. The 46th trait lightens the mood and with that comes good fortune for them and those they are working with. Not being so serious and overly focused on the particulars of tasks actually allows the team to reset and refocus itself to make sure that they are keeping the main thing, the main thing.

This week contemplate on what unnecessary or outdated knowledge you may need to unlearn because it stops you from having a fresh knowing and discovering the rich wisdom of life in the moment. You view setbacks as part of the process, helping you grow and find innovative solutions. Remind yourself to loosen your grip so you won’t be so constricted that you can’t open up to receive good luck and fortune that comes when you are lighthearted. Your systems (strategic plans, scientific logic, religion, politics, etc.) should be merely a method not a panacea. If so, you won’t benefit from the breadth and depth of a full and fulfilling life that is available to you. You can’t experience serendipity when you’re locked into a strategy, you have to be present in the moment and surrender to the flow of your creative energy.

Whenever you connect to the correct people and projects, there is no glass ceiling for you to contend with. This is because as a natural born ecstatic, when you are doing what you love, you embody the experience, detach from expectations and nothing can distract you. Put energy into the environment where you feel softer and lighter in lieu of rigid and heavy, that’s how you’ll know if you’re in the right place at the right time to share you abstract intelligence and an offer up that refreshing discovery for all to benefit from. This is a core business trait, and you are designed to work with others, coordinating everyone’s commitment and being the “feel good” energy of the team. You are able to pull the team together and coordinate the efforts because your type of determination comes from your own sense of inner direction, not willful pride.

If you ever feel uncertain or overwhelmed, you handle your feelings mindfully and allow yourself time to gain new perspectives. Instead of trying to control the situation, you let solutions develop organically. Your acceptance of difficult moments enhances your creativity and helps you achieve the best results. You avoid being guided by fear and trust that challenges can be overcome with time. This ability to stay present ensures that not only will you find solutions, but also implement them sustainably. This way, you can continue to work focused and productively even in stressful times and experience serendipity. 

Stage 1: RECOGNITION - Your dedication to working on what you love can lead to acknowledgment from those who wish to align with you and being discovered by audiences who resonate with you.

Stage 2: HEADLINING - Ready or not, your natural talents and abilities can be noticed and called upon because by being so engaged in your work and process, you end up being at the right place at the right time.

Stage 3: PROGRESSING - Be mindful that by being deeply connected to others, you'll have to successfully navigate relationships as you continue to work on what you love so you won't be pulled out of your process and stop progressing. Remain decided to your core objectives.

Stage 4: INFLUENCE - After you've been recognized for what you can offer, you can rise quickly as an impactful contributor in your field. Like a chess master, your social skills help you manage disruptions and ruffled feathers from others who may feel like you haven't paid your dues or fit into the status quo. Oprah Winfrey has this activation of the 46.4 in her Design Chart under her unconscious communication/calling section.

Stage 5: PACING - Pace yourself to the beat of your drum so success can come to you in increments, at the correct time for you, not when others think it should. Being out of aligned can cause you launch your product or service too early or too late.

Stage 6: INTEGRITY - Choosing the right experiences and the correct projects to bring value to the collective is essential so you many only decide to engage in opportunities that will successfully contribute to an evolutionary experience for all. By re-appraising your efforts, you can determine who and what receives your energy and attention.
